I am trying to lose weight and eating small portion. after working out today I ate an apple and an orange at 7:33 pm exactly!!
I felt so guilty eating it
cause I know it has sugar.
Now, does it ruin one's weight loss plan?
No, it won't ruin your weight loss plan if you eat late at night. And an apple and an orange are much better choices than junk food, so you should applaud yourself for that.
It doesn't matter when you eat, just as long as you are not going over your calories for the day. Obviously you wouldn't want to eat a big meal right before you go to sleep because you won't be active enough to burn off the calories. But a small snack won't hurt you at all.
Protein is great to eat at night, actually you should always eat some protein and carbs after you work out to help rebuild muscle tissue and replenish glycogen stores that you have depleted.

girl i know the feeling see im not fat either but im not exactly skinny. u could do something crazy and dont eat or do the right thing and keep off the pounds by staying healthy. but if u really want to ill give u some advice. eat a big breakfast and a smaller lunch and a smaller dinner, never fully get filled if ur still hungry drink lots of water. exercise at least once a day for 30 min and u will see results. there are some supplements you can take to help speed up your metabolism too. im doing it and so far its working. best of luck
